Despite torrential downpours, Fortune Footwear went all out for its 25th anniversary bash last Wednesday at the Empire Hotel rooftop (which, thankfully, was covered). But the company might soon have more to celebrate: The firm is rumored to be close to a footwear deal with superstar songstress Mariah Carey, as well as "Dancing with the Stars" pro Cheryl Burke.
Fortune Footwear Inc. is a private label women's footwear and handbag sourcing, design and distribution company. Customers include catalog companies, retail chains, shopping networks, branded and celebrity buyers. Every year they create hundreds of innovative women's shoe and handbag designs with more than 10 million pairs of shoes and 3 million handbags manufactured. The Fortune Footwear showroom is located at the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City.
